Meet restaurateur Claire Wadsworth, La Copine's owner who can sing your socks off

La Copine is Claire Wadsworth’s storytelling laboratory.

Second Chance sounds like a record that only needs the passage of time to make it a classic. Sounding both new and timeless, while rooted in traditional, piano-driven tunes, the singing and piano playing are complemented by a soaring string quartet, ’80s synths and trippy electric guitars. Wadsworth’s vocals float above it all, drenched in Laurel Canyon reverb and multi-tracked harmonies.

The record casts a spell upon the listener; 50 minutes of desert magic.

Described as a “mystic mix tape that crosses genres” "First Lessons" is the full-length debut album by Landers resident Claire Wadsworth, recording under the name C’est Claire.
